Spiderhead
Spiderhead, a KALICO Original Mixed Media Piece
With over 10 hours put into the creation of the piece, it consists of acyclic paint, embroidery thread, oil pastels, watercolor paints, and elements of graphic design printed and made into a collage.
Whether it is truth, bias, or misinformation, we consume so much unsolicited news and media each and every day, unaware of the negative mental effects that occur. This piece serves as a reminder to reclaim control over our minds and find our own personal balance between consuming knowledge about the world and protecting our own mental health.
